After Vinta Nanda and a crew member of ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’, it is actress Sandhya Mridul who has come out in open to speak about a horrific experience she had with senior actor Alok Nath. The woman has reportedly stated that they were shooting for a night scene and she had taken a change of costumes to Alok Nath. Once she handed him the clothes, Alok Nath started stripping in front of her.

The woman said that she was taken aback, and tried to make her way out of the room as soon as possible. When she tried to run out, she said that Alok Nath grabbed her hand and manhandled me. The woman added that she remembers yanking her hand out of his grip and rushing out of the room. She further added that she couldn't report the whole incident to, the producer-director of the film as she was shell-shocked and couldn't muster the courage to speak up against him. She also noted that Alok Nath was extremely close to the Barjatyas, and they probably would have taken it badly.
This movie resembles Hum aapke Hain Koun very much, since it brings forth the same appareil of restrained love, family values, and self sacrifice for the sake of a loving brother, and although the plot here is differently developed, it brings you to the happy ending as well, it's a nice traditional Bollywood movie after all! Maybe it's true that this latter movie is not worthy of praise as the former, but it's always a feast for the eyes anyway, being full of dance and music numbers which, even today, are quite nice to watch and listen to. This is about the trials and tribulations of a multigenerational family. We found it disengaging and rather tedious. It went on and on without getting far at the beginning and we started skipping scenes to see if it picked up. In the end we abandoned it. I'd hoped for more from a movie with Saif Ali Khan, Salman Khan & Karisma Kapoor but this was 1999 and I guess it wasn't among their better stuff.
The music and dance was ho-hum and unmemorable too. Elsewhere on the Net it scores average. However it was below average for us and not a keeper.
